ABOUT Kajukatli Stuffed Choco pooran Poli ( Heavenly delicious) RECIPE

A Paratha is a flat bread that originated in the Indian Subcontinents prevalent throughout areas of India,, Shrilanka, Pakistan ,Nepal and Bangladesh where Wheat is the traditional Staple. To jump start your metabolism is very important. So consuming Parathas in the morning breakfast is better than having in dinner after which you will be less active physically.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Kajukatli 200 grams.( 8 to 10.)
  2. Cocoa powder 1 tbsp
  3. Grated coconut 1/2 cup.
  4. Milk 2 tbsp
  5. gram flour 2 tbsp
  6. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  7. Five spice powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Cardemom powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
  10. Ghee 1 tbsp
  11. Ghee for shallow frying 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Gring Kaju katli with Cocoa powder in dry grinding Jaar.
  2. Add cold milk if needed.
  3. Roast gram flour in ghee on slow heat to pinkish brown.
  4. Add Coconut , saute a while (1/2 minute)
  5. Add Kajukatli mix , saute for half minute.
  6. Remove pan from heat, let it cool.
  7. Add five spice powder and cardamom powder.
  8. Knead a dough thicker than roti by adding 1 tbsp ghee.
  9. As your stuffing is cool, heat a non stick griddle.
  10. Take a big ball of wheatflour dough . Roll to the size of poori.
  11. Keep stuffing in centre. Close it by stretching from all sides.
  12. Roll a pratha with soft hands giving very little pressure.
  13. Spread 1/2 tsp ghee on griddle.
  14. Transfer rolled pratha on griddle and roast both the sides well by applying ghee on both the sides.
  15. Enjoy your heavenly delicious Paratha.
