Aloo paratha is a popular Indian recipe which is stuffed with spicy potato. It is a punjabi delicious breakfast recipe.

Ingredients to make Aloo Paratha

  • for dough we need
  • all purpose flour 2 cup
  • white oil is needed
  • salt as per taste
  • some warm water
  • for stuffing we need
  • boiled potato two pieces
  • boiled green peas 1 cup
  • salt as per taste
  • sugar as per taste
  • chopped green chillies
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

How to make Aloo Paratha

  1. First make a soft dough with all purpose flour, white oil, salt and warm water
  2. Rest for sometime.
  3. in this time make stuffing.
  4. now make some equal ball from dough.
  5. roll one ball in about 4-5 inches diameter round.
  6. place in a plate.
  7. now take one more ball and make a round like previous.
  8. put stuffing in the middle.
  9. place another Roti over it.
  10. press very well sides for seal the parathas.
  11. And roll again in about 6-7 inches diameter round.
  12. in a tawa brush some white oil.
  13. for the purpose from both sides very well.
  14. now served hot with chutney or raita or any other sabzi.

My Tip:

Always use warm water for making dough. It makes dough very soft while eating.
