ABOUT Aloo Paratha RECIPE

Paratha stuffed with potato.A healthy age old breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat Flour 1.5 cup
  2. salt to taste
  3. Mashed potato 1/2 cup
  4. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  6. 1/2 tsp chopped coriander
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1/4 tsp amchoor powder
  9. oil to fry the Paratha
  10. water to knead dough
  11. yogurt
  12. Green chili

Instructions

  1. Take wheat flour in stand mixer.Add salt.Gradually mix water and form a soft dough.
  2. Once the dough is made,keep it covered for 10-5 minutes.
  3. Take mashed potato in a bowl,add all the spices,add 3-4 tsp water and form a mixture.
  4. Take a small piece of dough and slightly roll it.Add 2-3 tsp potato mixture inside the dough .
  5. Seal it from both sides.
  6. Again roll it into a round ball and roll it.
  7. Take a rolling pin and roll it into Paratha.
  8. Heat a flat pan ,put the Paratha in the pan,add 1-2 tsp of oil.When one side is slightly done,flip the other side.Aloo Paratha is done.
  9. Serve Paratha with yogurt or pickles and green chillies.
