ABOUT Oats And Carrot Soup RECIPE

Here is the recipe for nice, yummy and thick "HEALTHY OATS AND CARROT SOUP" Yes.. I always use oats as a thickening agent in soups and as you all know that it's a very rich sauce of fiber and proteins.. it's not only good for kids but also very nice nutritious suppliment for adults also.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Roughly chopped carrots 2
  2. Roughly chopped tomatoes 2
  3. Garlic cloves 2
  4. Boiled sweet corn 2 tbsp
  5. Dry roasted and powdered oats 1 1/2 tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. Sugar 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  11. Butter 2 tsp
  12. Fresh cream for garnishing, as needed
  13. Toasted brown bread 2(optional)

Instructions

  1. Before we begin, check all your ingredients required to make this yummy soup
  2. Heat butter in pressure cooker, add garlice and saute for a while. Then add carrot and tomato, mix well. Add 2 glass water and cover with a lid, cook for 2 whistles.
  3. Let it cool down, then blend with powdered oats into a smooth puree.
  4. Heat a pan, add carrot tomato and oats puree, add some more water (because as the cooking process starts, the oats will start absorbing water), then add salt, sugar, pepper, lemon juice and corn. Cook for more 2-3 mins and it's done.
  5. Take this soup in a bowl and garnish wish fresh cream and some sweet corn.
  6. Serve hot with toasted bread.
