ABOUT Masala Khichdi RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Grounded Moong Daal 1 cup
  2. Basmati Rice 1 Cup
  3. Desi Ghee 2 spoon
  4. Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp
  5. Turmeric Powder 1 Tsp
  6. Whole Red Chilli 2
  7. Salt 1 Tbs

Instructions

  1. Wash daal and rice properly.
  2. In a cooker add daal and rice.
  3. Add 8 cup water.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
  5. Cook till 1 whistle.
  6. Let release the pressure itself.
  7. Mix it with a spatula.
  8. Heat ghee in a pan.
  9. Add cumin seeds and red chilli.
  10. Roast well.
  11. Turn off the flame.
  12. Mix the tadka in khichdi.
  13. Serve hot.
