ABOUT Pumpkin ka Paratha RECIPE

Petha is a traditional vegetable in Haryana. Any occasion can not be competed without it. Its paraths are really yummy and delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. pumpkin 500 Gram
  2. salt 1 Tsp
  3. cumin seeds 1 tsp
  4. Asofeotida 1 pinch
  5. Green chilli 5
  6. Green coriander 2 spoon

Instructions

  1. Peel the pumpkin.
  2. Wash it properly and dried it with cotton cloth so that extra water can be absorbed.
  3. Grate it.
  4. Press the grated pumpkin with palm, as its extra water can be seprated.
  5. Mix all the spices, but don't add salt.
  6. Make a soft dough with wheat flour.
  7. Make a small ball with dough.
  8. Little bit roll with rolling pin.
  9. Put 1 spoon stuffing on rolled dough.
  10. Mix 1 pinch of salt in it.
  11. Seal it with sides of the dough.
  12. Roll with the rolling pin gently.
  13. Place it on tawa.
  14. After 2 minutes flip it.
  15. Add some ghee/oil and roast it.
  16. Serve it with fresh curd.
