About Scallion Malai Chicken Recipe

Scallion Malai Chicken

Ingredients to make Scallion Malai Chicken

  • chicken large pieces 2
  • yogurt 2 Tablespoons
  • Scallion fistful or as preferred roughly chopped
  • cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt 3/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh cream / malai 3 tablespoons
  • garlic Cloves 5
  • ginger 1 inch piece 1
  • Green chili paste 1 tablespoon
  • Corn flour 1/2 tablespoon
  • Butter unsalted 3 tablespoons

How to make Scallion Malai Chicken

  1. Add a fistful of roughly chopped scallions, tablespoon green chili paste, 5 garlic in a blender .
  2. Add 2 tablespoons yogurt .
  3. Add a inch sized ginger piece.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder.
  5. Add 3/4 teaspoon salt .
  6. Add 3 tablespoons fresh cream .
  7. Blend all together into a smooth paste .
  8. Take 2 large piece chicken slit here and there for better masala absorption. Add the ground paste
  9. on the chicken pieces . Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon corn flour. Mix and marinate chicken .
  10. Cover and rest the marinated chicken for minimum 30 minutes. Keep under refrigeration.
  11. When chicken gets marinated well , melt 3 tablespoons unsalted butter on a pan .
  12. Place the marinated chicken pieces along with the marinade .
  13. Fry the chicken in medium heat .
  14. Flip sides and fry chicken until they look roasted with a golden brown crust .
  15. Scallion Malai Chicken is ready. Serve hot.
