ABOUT Hibiscus Tea RECIPE

Hibiscus flower in hindi called Gudhal phool. Hibiscus tea is an herbal tea which is consumed both hot and cold. Its leaves and flowers are used in Ayurvedic medicines and various home remedies.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hibiscus Flowers organic 12-14
  2. Water 1 liter
  3. Honey 4 tbsp
  4. Lemon juice 4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take out the stem and middle part of the flowers.
  2. Wash the leaves of the flowers.
  3. Boil water till it gets bubbles.
  4. Turn off the gas.
  5. Add flowers to the boiled water.
  6. Let it steep for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Flowers will change/loose colour and turn into white colour.
  8. Strain the tea in cups.
  9. Add 1 tsp lemon juice in 1 cup. As soon as you add lemon juice the color of the tea will change.
  10. Add 1 tbsp honey per cup. (Adding of lemon and honey is optional).
  11. If you want to enjoy it cool then just add some ice cubes in it.
