ABOUT Scrambled Eggs RECIPE

An universal favourite breakfast relished by one and all and is very common in every household.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 4 eggs, whisked
  2. 2 tbsp. oil
  3. 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
  4. 1 onion, chopped
  5. 1 tsp. ginger, chopped
  6. 1 tsp. garlic, chopped
  7. 1 red chili pepper / fresh green chilli, sliced
  8. 1-2 sprigs curry leaves
  9. 1/2 cup assorted bell peppers, sliced
  10. 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
  11. salt to taste
  12. 1/2 tsp. pepper powder or to taste
  13. 1 tsp. coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and temper with mustard seeds. After it stops spluttering, add the onion, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and chili pepper / green chilies till light brown.
  2. Add the bell peppers and turmeric powder and saute.
  3. Add the beaten egg, salt and pepper powder. Fry till done.
  4. Serve with bread, garnished with coriander leaves.
