Egg Flip Masala Buns

Ingredients to make Egg Flip Masala Buns

  • Buns 2
  • onion 2
  • tomatoes 4
  • ginger 1 inch
  • Green chili 1
  • garlic 6
  • oil as required
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Sambhar masala 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • eggs 2
  • coriander Leaves 1 string (Chopped)
  • water 1/2 Cup
  • butter 2 tbsp

How to make Egg Flip Masala Buns

  1. Masala Paste Preparation: In a grinder take 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped tomatoes, 3 garlic, 1/2 inch ginger and 2 green chilies. Make a paste of it.
  2. For Masala: Take a pan heat up 2 tbsp oil, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  3. Add 3 chopped garlic, 1/2 inch chopped ginger paste. Saute it.
  4. Add 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, sambhar masala , salt and 1/2 cup water. Cook it well, the masala should be thick.
  5. For the Eggs: In a bowl break one egg, add salt, coriander leaves and red chili powder. Mix it nicely.
  6. Heat the pan with 2 tbsp oil, pour the egg mixture and fry till light golden brown in color.
  7. Take it out on a plate . Let it cool down.
  8. For Egg Masala Buns: Heat Pan with 1 tbsp butter in it, cut the Buns from the middle and put butter on it.
  9. Toast it for 1 minute then put masala in between the buns. And also at the top of the bun.
  10. Cook it upside down for 2 minutes till the masala sticks to the buns.
  11. Take it out on a plate. Put the masala bun on the fried egg, cover the bun with the fried egg.
  12. Your Egg Flip Bun is ready.
