Chicken Burger

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken Kheema 450 gms
  2. 6 burger buns
  3. Oil for sauteing and frying
  4. 1 beaten egg
  5. Marinade for kheema:
  6. 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  7. 3 tsp green chili-coriander leaves paste
  8. 1 tsp red chili powder
  9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1-1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/2 fried onion crushed
  12. Handful of chopped coriander leaves
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 1 tsp jeera
  15. 2 - 1/2 tbsp cornflour
  16. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  17. Garnish:
  18. 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  19. 1/2 tsp green chili-coriander leaves paste
  20. 1 large sliced onion
  21. 2 sliced tomatoes
  22. 6 Cheese Slices
  23. Few lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and drain kheema thoroughly. Mix well all the marinade ingredients with kheema and marinate for 30 minutes at least.
  2. Make big sized balls of chicken kheema and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Beat egg separately in a bowl.
  4. Dip kheema ball in egg. Roll in breadcrumbs. Flatten it and shallow fry on both sides.
  5. Assemble Buns by layering with any fresh salad leaves/lettuce, sliced onions and tomatoes, chicken patty and top it with green chili-coriander leaves paste mixed in mayonnaise and cheese.
