Moong daal ka cheela with matar paneer stuffing

Ingredients to make Moong daal ka cheela with matar paneer stuffing

  • Split green gram 200 gram
  • salt to taste
  • Red pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • cottage cheese 200 gram
  • Green peas 200 gram
  • onion 1 medium size
  • tomato 2 medium size
  • ginger 1 inch
  • green chillies 2
  • oil to make filling 2 tablespoons
  • oil to shallow fry pancakes 2 tablespoons

How to make Moong daal ka cheela with matar paneer stuffing

  1. Wash and soak lentils for 2 hours
  2. Now grind smoothly by adding water along with ginger
  3. Make a thick batter
  4. Add salt and half of the pepper powder
  5. Mix well
  6. In a pan put oil for making filling
  7. Keep it on medium heat
  8. Add cumin seeds
  9. Add chopped onion
  10. Fry well
  11. Add chopped tomatoes and green chillied
  12. Add finely chopped cottage cheese cubes and boiled green peas
  13. Add salt pepper powder and garam masala powder
  14. Mix well and keep aside
  15. Now grease the pan or waffle maker
  16. Spread a laddle full of lentils batter
  17. Let it be crispy
  18. Then fill the filling
  19. Serve hot with chutney and tomato sauce
