ABOUT Kiddie Delight Noodle Sandwich RECIPE

Home full of kids, all the cousins, nephews and nieces at my home and they want something yummy like junk food and their mom want them to have something healthy. So just made these noodle sandwiches with taste of veggies and wheat bread.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Noodles 1/2 packet (I used chings hakka noodles)
  2. Onions - 2
  3. Cabbage - 1/2
  4. Carrot - 1
  5. Green chilli - 2
  6. Capsicum - 1
  7. Brown Bread - 1 packet
  8. Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  9. Tomtao ketchup
  10. Salt according to taste
  11. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
  12. Oil - 2 tbsp
  13. Chilli flakes
  14. Oregano flakes
  15. Vinegar (Optional) 1 tbsp
  16. Mayonnaise (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles in a pan adding 1/2 tbsp oil in it.
  2. Strain it and just rinse well with oily hands and keep aside
  3. Chop all the vegetables finely and keep aside
  4. Take a pan, pour 1 1/2 tbsp oil in it and let it get hot.
  5. Now add chopped vegetables in it and saute.
  6. Keep sauteing until the onions turns golden.
  7. Now add salt and chilli powder in it and mix well.
  8. Add soya sauce and vinegar in it.
  9. Now add tomato ketchup in it.
  10. Lastly, add boiled noodles in it and mix really well.
  11. Turn off the flame and let it come to room temperature.
  12. Now take bread slices and spread a layer of tomato ketchup on it.
  13. Now set a layer of noodles on it.
  14. Sprinkle oreganos and chilli flakes on it and cover with another slice
  15. Pre heat the sandwich maker (I used electric one).
  16. Place the sandwiches on it and lock the lid
  17. Take off when done.
  18. Serve hot with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup
