Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Bread slices 8
  2. Yellow Moong dal 1/2 cup
  3. Green chilli 2
  4. Ginger 1 small piece
  5. Jeera 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Butter 2 teaspoons
  7. Turmeric powder a pinch
  8. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander leaves few

Instructions

  1. Soak yellow moong dal in water for half an hour. Then drain the excess water and grind it along with green chillies, ginger,turmeric powder, jeera into smooth thin paste.Add coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt
  2. Spread butter on both sides of bread and then spread the moong paste in one side of the bread
  3. Heat a tawa and place the bread with moong paste side down and cook in low flame until it is golden brown.
  4. Then toast the other side too.
  5. Repeat the process for other slices too
  6. Cut into half as triangles and serve
