It’s a famous Maharashtrian traditional recipe. This recipe is not only famous in Maharashtra but in other states and it is served as breakfast there and people also love to eat. Generally it’s served fryed but this kothambir wadi is shallow fryed and healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Besan 1 Cup
  2. Rice flour 3 tablespoon
  3. Ginger chilli paste 2 tablespoon
  4. Green garlic chopped 2 tablespoon
  5. Corriender (kothambir) chopped 1 Cup
  6. salt as per taste
  7. pinch of soda
  8. water 1 Cup
  9. Oil 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take one bowl add besan, rice flour, ginger chilli paste,green garlic chopped, corriender chopped and salt as per taste.
  2. Now add water slowly slowly and make medium thick better.
  3. Add pinch of soda mix it well.
  4. Now in a grease a plate with oil and pour the kotheambir wadi better sprinkle sesame seeds.
  5. Now keep this better in a steamer for 12 minutes then take it out as it comes to room temperature cut into peices and shallow fry till it gets crispy.
  6. Now serve it hot with green chutney, ketchup or masala tea
