ABOUT Chees Chilli Toast RECIPE

This is traditional breakfast from European & Irish cuisine we adapted and served as a morning breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8 slices of brown bread/white bread
  2. For topping:- 1/2 cup processed cheese
  3. 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  4. 1/3 cup cheddar cheese
  5. 3 tbsp cheese spread
  6. 1 tbsp milk
  7. 3 green chillies finely chopped
  8. 3 cloves garlic finely crushed
  9. 1 TSP pepper crushed
  10. 1 capsicum finely chopped
  11. 1 onion finely chopped
  12. 1 TSP mixed herbs
  13. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  14. 1 tsp oregano
  15. 2 tbsp butter
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slightly to make it crispier.
  2. Preheat oven for about 100degree for 5 minutes.
  3. For topping :- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Take the toasted bread and apply butter on top.
  5. Now evenly spread the cheese mixture on top of the bread.
  6. Sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano on it.
  7. Place all the bread slice in baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  8. When cheese melts and turns golden brown remove from oven.
  9. Place them on a serving plate and cut into a stripes.
  10. If you are making on tawa/stove top then just place the bread on preheated tawa and cover with lid.
  11. Allow to cook on low flame till cheese melts completely.
  12. Once cheese melts it is ready for serve sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano on top.
  13. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
