Spinach and Cheese Curry

Ingredients to make Spinach and Cheese Curry

  • 500 gms spinach cooked in 1 cup water
  • butter 2 tbsp for frying paneer
  • onions 3 medium sized
  • garlic Pods 2
  • Cooking oil 5 tbsp
  • cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • paneer 300 gms
  • salt according to taste
  • chilly powder 1 tbsp
  • cream 1/4 cup
  • Gram masala powder 1/4 tsp

How to make Spinach and Cheese Curry

  1. Cook the spinach in 1 cup water
  2. Drain the water and grind the spinach into a fine paste.
  3. Grind the 2 onions ,garlic, and add this paste to the ground spinach
  4. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions
  5. Pour the spinach mix and cook for 5 minutes
  6. Cut the cheese into fine cubes and leave it in boiled water for a little while. Drain and shallow fry in butter till golden brown and add to the spinach mixture.
  7. Add the Garam masala powder and serve with rice, naan or chapattis.

My Tip:

I would suggest plain fresh cream
