Chawal roti is one of the most tasty breakfast recipe from chhattisgarh state, its easy to make and healthy. I add same special ingredients to make it more healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cups of rice flour
  2. 1 cup of semolina
  3. 1/2 a cup gram flour
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. 1 finely chopped onion
  6. 2 finely chopped potatoes
  7. 1 cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves
  8. 1/2 a cup coriander leaves
  9. 1/2 a spoon carom seeds
  10. 1/3 a spoon hing
  11. 1/3 a spoon black pepper powder
  12. 1 finely chopped green chilly
  13. 1 table spoon oil for moyan
  14. 1 pinch of baking soda
  15. Oil for fry
  16. Tomato, chilly, coriander green chatni for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add rice flour, semolina and gram flour
  2. Add salt, hing, black pepper powder, and carom seeds mix it well
  3. Add finely chopped onion, potatoes, fenugreek leaves and coriander leaves
  4. Add oil for moyan and baking soda mix it well
  5. Add water to make a soft dough
  6. Heat the tava Grease with oil
  7. Make round shape chapati with help of hand and fry in tava
  8. Fry both sides until brown patches appear
  9. Serve hot with chatni and enjoy
