Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup Sooji/Rawa
  2. 1 cup Yogurt
  3. 1 tsp salt to taste
  4. 2 tsp Fruit salt
  5. 1 tsp lemon
  6. 1 tsp redchilli powder
  7. 1 tsp garam masala
  8. 1 tsp Sambhar masala
  9. 1 tsp coariander powder
  10. 1 tsp chaat masala
  11. 3 tsp corn flour
  12. Fresh coariander leafs


  1. Heat water in a steamer on medium flame.
  2. Take a bowl add yogurt and rawa and mix it well then add salt to taste and mix then add little water if required and add fruit salt and mix till batter become light and airy then transfer it in steamer and steam for 10 min on medium flame.
  3. Take another bowl add corn flour and all other powdered spices and mix all well then add water and a paste .
  4. Once idli is steam let it cool and cut in diamond shape or any other desired shape.
  5. Now coat idli in spiced mix properly till all get even coats.
  6. Now heat oil in non stick pan and Shallow fry idli till crisp..
  7. Garnish with fresh coariander .
