Shami kebab is pakistani breakfast dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grams chicken bonless
  2. 1/2 cup soaked Chana dal
  3. 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  4. 2 green cardamom
  5. 2 dried red chili
  6. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  7. 3 garlic cloves 
  8. 1/2 inch ginger 
  9. 1 tablespoon green chili pest
  10. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  13. 1 tablespoon chopped coriand
  14. 1 tablespoon chopped mint
  15. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  16. 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Take a pressure cooker and put soaked dal, chicken piece's, turmeric powder, red chili, salt, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, black pepper, garlic cloves, ginger and 1/4 cup water and mix it well.
  2. Put the pressure cooker on gas and cook for 15 to 20 minute.
  3. Once it is cooked strain the water completely.
  4. Allow it to cool and transfer to a grinder and grind it.
  5. Then transfer the mixture in a bowl and add coriander leaves, garam masala powder,chopped onion, and mint leaves.
  6. Mix it well.
  7. Heat oil in a pan.
  8. Make small tikkis out of the mixture and dip into beaten eggs.
  9. Fry it on medium flame your shami kebab is ready.
  10. Serve hot with sauce.
