Ingredients Serving: 4

  2. 1 large boiled potato
  3. 1 small chopped onion
  4. 1 small chopped tomato
  5. 1 small chopped bell pepper
  6. 1 tablespoon ginger- garlic mince
  7. 1 teaspoon chopped olives
  8. 1/4 cup cheese cut into 1 inch cubes
  9. 1/2 tablespoon pasta sauce
  10. 1/2 tablespoon tandoori mayonnaise
  11. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  12. Corn starch and water for slurry + Bread crumbs for dusting
  13. Oil for deep frying
  14. Water as required

Instructions

  1. To make filling- mash the potato in a large bowl. Add in chopped onion, tomato, bell pepper, olives, ginger-garlic mince, pasta sauce, tandoori mayonnaise, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix everything well until a creamy dip consistency is formed, if too dry add in a tablespoon of fresh cream. Keep aside.
  3. Sprinkle some water on counter top and roll out each bread into thinner bigger slices. Add a teaspoon or two of filling in the center of each bread. Press 2-3 cubes of cheese in each filling.
  4. Once done, press and form a ball out of bread with wet hands. use water as needed as it will help the bread to stay in a sphere shape. Keep aside
  5. Heat oil in a large wok. Mix corn starch and water to make a thin slurry or egg wash can replace the slurry. Don't forget to season either way, with some salt and red pepper powder.
  6. Roll each ball into bread crumbs and deep fry until golden brown. Cut through to see cheese ooze out while its still hot.
  7. Serve hot with desired sauce
