This a gujrati cusion.Handavo is very healthy ,tasty and favourite breakfast. I give a twist in this recipe is that I skip the fermentation by useing Eno fruit salt and make it in cup cake moulds instead of cake tin.So that every one can enjoy it saperatly.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1/4 Cup Chana Dal
  2. 1/4 cup Urad dal
  3. 1/4 cup Mung Dal
  4. 1/2 cup rice
  5. 1/4 cup spinach
  6. 1/4 cup spring onion
  7. 1 tsp green chilli paste
  8. 1 table spoon Ginger Garlic paste
  9. 4-5 Curry Leaves
  10. 1 tsp salt/ as per taste
  11. 4 tasp oil
  12. 2 tasp sesame seeds
  13. 1 tsp Eno fruit salt


  1. Wash and Soak all dal and rice in water for 3-4 hours.
  2. Drain water from each dal and rice.
  3. Now grind all in mixer in a course paste.
  4. Now for temporing heat  oil and add mustard seed and seseame seeds and curry leaves.
  5. Mix all  finally cut vegetables and ingredients ,1 tsp baghar /temporing and eno and beat well and make a fullfy paste.
  6. Grease the moulds .
  7. Pour batter 3/4 moulds and decorate with some sesame seeds temporing.
  8. Preheat mow in convection mode on 180℃ .
  9. Keep the mould on low rack .
  10. Bake the handavo cups for 20 minutes in convection mode .
  11. Our healthy and tasty breakfast is read .
  12. Serve veg handvo with tomato sauce decoration.
