Poori with peas stuffing is an awesome and authentic breakfast,mostly during the winter season.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Wheat flour 1.5 cup
  2. Moida or All purpose Flour 1/2 cup
  3. Salt as required
  4. Sugar 1/2tsp
  5. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
  6. 1/2 cup frozen peas
  7. Water to knead the dough
  8. Oil for frying
  9. 2-3 tsp mashed potato
  10. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Take wheat flour and Moida in stand mixer.Knead the dough with gradually adding water.
  2. Keep the dough covered for 10 mins
  3. Add oil in a pan,once it is hot,add cumin seeds,salt and water.Add the frozen peas ,fry it for sometime.Add mashed potatoes and fry it.Sprinkle some water and cook it .Mash it well with a masher.
  4. Take some dough and make into small round Poori.
  5. Add some peas stuffing and roll it again.Seal the sides and roll again in the form of poori.
  6. Take oil in a pan,once it is hot ,fry the poori’s.Flip both the sides and fry .Take out from oil and serve hot.
