About Guacamole Recipe

This amazing dip is super healthy. Just one avocado a day gives more than required potassium for us. In addition to it being on low glycemic index, it's great for diabetics too. This needs to be consumed soon as it turns black within a day.

Guacamole

Ingredients to make Guacamole

  • 1 ripe large avocado
  • 1/2 finely chopped onion
  • 1 large finely minced or grated garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime

How to make Guacamole

  1. Cut avocado in half. Scoop out the flesh in a bowl, discarding the pith.
  2. Combine all the remaining ingredients with the avocado and mash it well.
  3. Serve immediately with taco/burrito/nachos or refrigerate up to two days.
  4. This dip can be used as Sandwich spread too.
