  17. Mayonnaise- 2 tablespoons
  18. Tomato Sauce- 2 tablespoons
  19. Cheese slices optional
  20. Sesame Seeds- 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, salt, sugar and oil well and knead it to a dough using warm water.
  2. Keep the dough covered with damp cloth in a warm place preferably until doubled. This might take close to 30 to 40 minutes.
  3. While the dough is rising, prepare the Tikki mixture by combining mashed potatoes, paneer, salt, pepper, kitchen King masala, chaat masala and chopped green chillies.
  4. Make small balls and flatten them to form the Tikki shape.
  5. Place them on non stick tawa and brush a little oil.
  6. Sauté it until golden from both sides.
  7. Once the dough rises, punch it down with greased hands and knead it for a minute.
  8. Make balls and place them 1-2 inches apart in a greased tray.
  9. Brush them with milk and let it rise for another 10-15 minutes.
  10. Now sprinkle the sesame seeds and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 25 minutes.
  11. Once baked, let them cool for 10 minutes and slice them from the middle.
  12. Spread tomato sauce on the lower slice and place a Tikki.
  13. Now place sliced vegetables of your choice and put mayonnaise.
  14. Now put the cheese slice if you wish and finally place the top of the burger bun slice.
  15. Insert a toothpick with paneer cube/cherry tomato on top to give it a professional touch.
  16. Your homemade healthy burgers are ready.
