ABOUT Say Cheese with Pride RECIPE

Rajma, carrot, potato cutlet. Roll in cheese slice, than fold in half cooked chapati and bake. Served with cheese and tomato gravy. Proud feeling after making such a delicious dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rajma soaked overnight and pressure cooked 1 cup
  2. Shredded carrot 2 cups
  3. Potatoes boiled and mashed 4
  4. Besan 1 tbsp
  5. Garlic grated 1 tbsp
  6. Parsley 1 tbsp
  7. Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
  8. Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
  9. Salt, chilli powder, garam masala according to taste
  10. Oil for shallow frying
  11. All purpose flour 1 1/2 cup
  12. Baking powder 1 tbsp
  13. Milk 1/2 cup
  14. Tomatoes blanched 6 Or 2 cups of tomato gravy
  15. Cheese slice 10
  16. Grated cheese cubes 4
  17. Basil (dried) 1 tbsp
  18. Sugar to balance the acidity of the tomatoes
  19. Chilli powder as per taste
  20. Chilli powder as per taste

Instructions

  1. Coarse grind cooked rajma.
  2. Add grated carrot, mashed potatoes, besan, salt, chilli powder, coriander leaves, garam masala, parsley and dry roasted kasoori methi.
  3. Mix everything and shallow fry franky cutlets.
  4. Blend tomatoes. And garlic, chilli, salt, sugar, basil and boil to make a tomato gravy.
  5. Sift flour with baking powder and add ghee. Knead with milk.
  6. Roll out roti. Roast a little on just one side. Spread a little tomato gravy.
  7. Take a cheese slice, fold the cutlet in it. Wrap in a roti (cooked side in) and bake in a preheated oven at 230 degree centigrade for 10 minutes.
  8. Take out and serve with tomato gravy and cheese.
  9. Enjoy the super yummy taste of an absolute cheese dish.
