Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Spinach 1 cup
  2. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  3. Mint leaves 1/3 cup
  4. Bread crumbs 3/4 cup
  5. Grated mozzarella cheese 1/ 2 cup
  6. Red chili flakes 1 to 2 tsp
  7. Finely chopped onion 1/3 cup
  8. Corn flour 1 tbsp
  9. Grated garlic 1/4 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash all the green leafy vegetables in cold water. Boil the spinach for 5 minutes. After it cools down completely add the boiled spinach along with coriander leaves, mint leaves in a mixer and make a fine paste.
  2. In a bowl mix together the green paste, grated garlic, bread crumbs, corn flour and a pinch of salt. Make a soft dough.
  3. In another bowl mix cheese, chili flakes and chopped onion. Make 7 to 8 small balls of this cheese mixture.
  4. Take a small portion of spinach dough and make a flat small disc. Put a cheese ball into the center of the disc and cover it from all the sides.
  5. Take some oil in your palm and roll the balls very well.
  6. For air fryer, preheat the airfryer at 150 degree centigrade for 5 minutes then cook the balls for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve it hot with sweet chili sauce /chili garlic / chili sauce.
  7. For deep frying, heat the pan, add some oil, let it warm, then fry the balls till they are crisp and brown from all the sides. Serve it hot with sweet chili/ chili garlic sauce / chili sauce.
