ABOUT Lemon Rice with Smoked Chaas RECIPE

A simple south Indian rice can be served with rasa or curd.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 10 gm cashew nuts
  2. 10 gm peanuts
  3. 10 gm chana dal
  4. 10 gm urad dal
  5. 1 sprig curry leaves
  6. 1 tsp green chilli and ginger paste
  7. pinch of haldi
  8. salt to taste
  9. juice of one lemon


  1. Heat oil or ghee. Add mustard seeds, dried red chilli, add urad dal and chana dal then ginger and green chilli paste. Cook until dal turns little brown. Now add curry leaves. Add haldi and lemon juice . Stir it. Add cooked rice and mix well.
