Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lemon 5number
  2. Salt 1/2 cup
  3. Ginger chopped 3tablespoon
  4. Garlic chopped 3tablespoon
  5. Green chilly sliced 10number
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Gingely oil 4tablespoon
  8. Mustard seed 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Methi powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Hing 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Vinegar 2tablespoon
  13. Sugar 1/4 teaspoon


  1. Wash lemon neatly
  2. Steam cook it for 5 minutes. It should be soft and should not crack
  3. Dry it with a towel
  4. Let it cool
  5. Cut into pieces
  6. Add salt in lemon and leave it to soak for 24 hours
  7. In a pan add gingely oil and crack mustard seed and add curry leaves
  8. Saute ginger garlic and green chilly
  9. Add lemon pieces
  10. Mix well and add methi powder and hing and turmeric powder
  11. add vinegar and mix well
  12. Let it cool and store in a dry airtight container
  13. Serve it after 1 week. Stir it daily
