Cheesy Masala Pav Slice

Ingredients to make Cheesy Masala Pav Slice

  • 6.Pav
  • 2-onion chopped
  • 2 small capsicum
  • 3 medium tomatoes puree
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • 2 tbsp-tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tbsp dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 1/4 tsp haldi powder
  • salt for taste
  • 1/2-3/4 cup water
  • 100 gms butter
  • 100 gms mozzarella cheese grated
  • 100 gms processed cheese grated
  • mixed dry herbs for seasoning

How to make Cheesy Masala Pav Slice

  1. mince the onion fine, mince capsicum fine, not puree. mince ginger,garlic,chillies fine.
  2. take a pan or kadai heat some oil and 1tbsp butter
  3. add ginger and garlic.
  4. saute for few seconds.
  5. add onion, saute for 5-8 minutes not brown just transparent.
  6. add capsicum saute for few minutes
  7. add tomato puree saute until oil can be seen from sides
  8. add water, mix it and add all masalas one by one.
  9. cover and cook on slow flame for few minutes
  10. Switch off the flame and add tomato ketchup and mix.
  11. take a big oven plate or baking tray
  12. cut and separate the pav up and down sides
  13. apply butter and set in a baking tray
  14. put some masala mix upon each pao and spread
  15. masala should not be watery or oily
  16. take both the cheeses mix together spread upon the pav slices
  17. sprinkle some seasoning of mix herbs.
  18. grill for 5-7 mins or until cheese turn golden from top.
