Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 2 tablespoon oil
  3. 2 onions cut long
  4. Peas beans and carrots - 1 cup total
  5. 1 boiled potato cut and fried lightly
  6. 3 green chillies


  1. Rice to be washed and left in water for 10 mns
  2. Add 4 cup water to rice in container
  3. Put on full gas for 10 mns- do NOT cover container
  4. Strain the water through a sieve ( channi )
  5. Vegetables should be steamed or run through boiling water for 1 mn - keep aside
  6. fry the onions in frying pan till golden brown
  7. Add all vegetables and fry for 5 mns
  8. Add salt to taste and juice of one lemon
  9. Mix the rice to this and fry for 3-5 mns.serve with green chillies
