This amazing Instant Strawberry Jam recipe uses just four simple ingredients and comes together in less than 45 minutes.

Instant Strawberry jam

Ingredients to make Instant Strawberry jam

  • 1 kg fresh strawberries , hulled and halved
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons water

How to make Instant Strawberry jam

  1. Add strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice to the pressure cooker.  Let sit for 10 minutes.  (The sugar will help draw juice from the strawberries)
  2. Close the lid and secure the whistle. Cook on high flame for 2 to3 whistles. Allow to natural release for 15 minutes.
  3. Combine the cornflour and water until smooth. (If it's too thick you can add a tiny bit more water until its liquid and cornflour is completely smooth.)
  4. Remove the lid (it will look like soup like,) Stir in cornflour slurry.
  5. saute for few minutes ,bring the mixture to a full boil.  Boil for a few minutes, stirring frequently until mixture has thickened. Turn off gas.
  6. Pour jam into a sterlized container, cover with lid ,and store upto 15 days.
