ABOUT Power Booster Salad RECIPE

A delicious and power pack salad with goodness of beetroot, carrot, pomogranate and the main ingredient that takes this salad to altogether different level is the Dates. It is also Good for Anaemia patients.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 beetroot grated
  2. 1 carrot grated
  3. 1/2 cup of cabbage grated
  4. 1/2 cup fresh pomogranate pearls
  5. 3/4 cup chopped dates (khajur)
  6. 1/2 a lemon juice
  7. 1 tbsp mint leaves chopped
  8. 1 tsp chaat masala
  9. Salt and pepper to taste


  1. 1. Grate beetroot, carrot and cabbage separately
  2. 2. Now squeeze out water of these veggies to a certain level as it can make the salad soggy
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl add all three veggies..(reserve around 1 TSP of grated abbage for final garnish as cabbage when mixed with beetroot will take its colour hence a little sprinkle on the top will give a nice colour contrast to the salad)
  4. 4. Now add pomogranate and dates ( reserve around 1 TSP of both for final garnish too) to the veggies, tear mint leaves with hand and add... Season it with salt, pepper and chat masala. Finally add lemon juice and mix well
  5. 5. Serve the salad in a plate, garnish it with little grated cabbage, some fresh pomogranate and chopped dates on top. Enjoy!!
