Green Chilli Pickle

Ingredients to make Green Chilli Pickle

  • 3 tbsp Methray
  • 3 tbsp Moti Rai
  • 1 tbsp ajwain
  • Pinch of hing
  • 4 tbsp of Moti (soaf) fennel seeds
  • 1 tbsp. of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1tsp.of red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp.of Aamchoor powder
  • 2Serving spoons of mustard oil
  • 1 serving spoon of vinegar

How to make Green Chilli Pickle

  1. First of all wash green chillies and make properly dry with the help of towel napkin and cut it into 4 pieces
  2. Now switch on gas and put one pan on it and put 3 tbsp Methidana stir it continuosly on slow fame when good aroma comes out from it then put 3 tbsp.Rai and stir it again for a minute.
  3. Then put 1 tbsp Ajwain, 4tbsp.Fennel seeds and roast them.
  4. Now again switch on gas and put a pan on it and put one by one small bowl nearly two serving spoons of mustard oil in it and let smoke come out.
  5. When they cool down then grind them in grinder not v.smooth put 2tbsl.of Amchoor powder, 1 tsp. of red chilli powder and mix them with 1 serving spoon of burnt oil and 1 serving spoon of vinegar.
  6. Stuff that ready masala with oil in green chillies
  7. Now take one moisture free jar and put all stuffed green chillies in it and pour rest of oil in it.
  8. Keep it out under sun and shake it occasionally .
  9. Now our yummy pickle is ready to eat. We can also keep it for a year .

My Tip:

Dry all green chillies, spoon or hands used for mixing masalla and Jar should also be Moisture free.
