Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2cups guava puree (strained to remove seeds)
  2. 2cups sugar
  3. 3-4heaped tblsp cornflour
  4. 1tsp pink food colour
  5. 1tblsp butter
  6. 2-3cups granulated sugar


  1. In a nonstick kadhai take gauva puree, sugar and cook by continuously stirring
  2. Add butter and cook on a low flame till it starts leaving the sides of pan
  3. Dissolve cornflour in enough water to form a thick paste
  4. Add colour and cornflour to the above mixture
  5. Cook further till cornflour is cooked(3-4 min)
  6. Grease a square tray. Transfer the above mixture the tray and flatten
  7. Cool in the freeze
  8. Cut into squares
  9. Coat with granulated sugar
