ABOUT Buddha bowl RECIPE

Buddha Bowl  is called so because the bowl in which you are eating is as full as Buddhas belly.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Greens: one cup boiled spinach
  2. Vegetables : one cup boiled carrot and capsicum
  3. Protein : one cup boiled chick peas and one cup roasted cottage cheese
  4. Carbohydrates : one cup boiled and peeled sweet potato
  5. Dressing : extra virginolive oil, salt and black pepper.. Added as per taste


  1. Choose a bowl which is wide as well as deep.
  2. Start with a layer of greens followed by vegetables.
  3. Add carbs and proteins to the bowl.
  4. Add dressing to the bowl only when absolutely ready to serve. Otherwise everything will be soggy.
  5. Buddha Bowl is ready.
