Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup Suji(semolina)
  2. 2 cups sugar powder
  3. 1 cup grated khawa (Mawa)
  4. 25 grams finely chopped mix dry fruits (cashew nuts,almonds,pista and kismis)
  5. Elaichi powder 1 tablespoon
  6. jaifal powder 1 tablespon
  7. Poppy seeds:1 tablespoon
  8. :Ingredients for outer layer:
  9. Maida(All purpose flour):3 cups
  10. Salt :1 tsp
  11. oil /ghee 1 tablespoon
  12. Water for making dough

Instructions

  1. Heat a khadhai. Now roast soji(samolina ) in it on medium flame untill it becomes light brown in colour and fragrance of roasting starts coming from it. Now take it out from khadhai and keep it for cooling down for 20 minutes .
  2. Now take dessicated coconut and roast it on medium flame untill it changes colour from white to light brown in colour. Now take a parath and add soji(semolina),dessicated coconut powder and mix it well. Now add khawa,sugar powder,Mix dry fruits.
  3. Now keep it aside for 30 minutes.So that mixture get properly mix up with each other.
  4. Now take Maida( All purpose flour) Stieve it well 2 times .Add salt to it. Add oil /ghee to it. Crumble and mix it very well. Now knead it in to tight dough by adding slowly water to it .
  5. Knead it very well for 5 to 7 minutes again grease it and for rest for 10 minutes. Now make small balls out of it in equal sizes .Roll it in to puri shape. Take Karanji mould and put this puri on it. Add 1 spoon stuffing to it Seal the edges
  6. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Heat Oil /Desi ghee in khadhai .Fry all the Ghujiya on medium flame untill it changes it colour from white to cream colour and becomes crispy .
  7. Finally our Ghujiya is ready now. Make this delicious dish for ur special day and on ur favourite festival and enjoy it
