ABOUT Lal Mirch ki Chutney RECIPE

This particular chutney is made in winters when we get the pickle Red Chillies big ones, and good juicy lemons. This chutney can be stored for a full year if refrigerated properly.Once its refrigerated it’s consistency is like a jam.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 200grams whole red chillies ( pickle chillies)
  2. 200 grams juice of lemon juice.
  3. 3-4 tablespoon of sugar or more as per needed.
  4. Approximately 1 teaspoon of salt


  1. Wash the lemons and the chillies and then wipe them with a dry clean cloth.
  2. Grind together chillies and lemon juice.
  3. Take a vessel , add the ground paste , add sugar and salt and cook till it gets thick .
  4. Do not make it too thick or else after cooling it will get sticky.
  5. The consistency should be a little thicker than Ketchup.
  6. Once cooled, transfer in a bottle and store in a refrigerator.
