Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ingredients for stuffing:
  2. 1 cup moong daal ( Green gram )
  3. Gram flour ( besan ) 3 Tablespoon
  4. Oil 2 tablespoon
  5. Cumin 1 tablespoon
  6. Asafoetida 1 teaspoon
  7. Sabut dhania ( Coriander Seeds) 1 Tablespoon
  8. Funnel seeds roasted 1 Tablespoon
  9. Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  10. Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  12. Salt according to the taste
  13. Aamchur powder 1 power
  14. Garam masal 1 Teaspoon
  15. Maida Dough
  16. 2 cups of maida
  17. Oil /ghee 3 Tablespoon
  18. Salt as per taste
  19. Ajwain tsp
  20. Water for making dough


  1. Dough:Take Maida in a parath .Add oil/ghee to it .Add salt and ajwain Now slowly add water to it and knead it into stiff dough
  2. The dough should be like paratha dough....nor to soft....nor very thick.... Now again put little oil to it ...and knead for few seconds... Keep it aside for 20 minutes.Close the dough with cotton cloth on it
  3. Stuffing:Soak moong daal(Green gram) for 5 hours,Drain out water from it and coarsely grind it in mixture,Heat oil in a pan
  4. Add jeera,asafoetida in it,Add Besan( gram flour ) and saute it till it becomes dark yellow in colour and rawness goes completely from it,Add moong daal(green gram ) to it
  5. Add turmeric ,red chilly powder, Coriander powder,salt,garam masala,aamchur powder,sabut dhaniya ,funnel seeds and mix it very well Cook it for 6 to 8 minute from medium to low....and again low to medium flame....till moongdaal is cooked pr
  6. Final step,Make medium size equal balls of dough Roll it with rolling pin on rolling board ,Fill stuffing in it Again close it into the ball
  7. Press little in the middle ,Once again roll it on rolling board Make the puri little thick,But make sure the edges should be thin in layer
  8. Make all such kachoris,Finally fry this kachori on medium flame....untill it becomes golden brown and crispy,Our khasta kachori is ready now
  9. Make a hole in centre....Add green chutney,khajur imli chutney and 0 size sev and enjoy this chatakeder and mouth watering snack friends
