ABOUT Homemade Condensed Milk RECIPE

Condensed milk or mainly known as milkmaid is essential part of eggless baking and desserts. This sauce not only provide sweetness but also gives richness to the dessert. Market made products are loaded with preservatives and are costly as well. How about making your own sweetened condensed milk at home and thats too without refined sugar. It's pocket friendly as well. Then lets start.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Full Fat Milk 500 ml
  2. Raw Cane Sugar 1 cup
  3. Baking Soda 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a heavy bottom pan, add milk and sugar.
  2. Start boiling it.
  3. After one boil reduce the flame to mefium-low heat and continue to boil until it reduces to half.
  4. Once milk thicken, and reduce to half, switch off the flame.
  5. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Then add baking soda and whisk it immediately.
  7. Bring the prepared sauce/ condensed milk to room temperature.
  8. Transfer it to glass jar and store it in refrigerator.
