    Sabudana idli

    Ingredients to make Sabudana idli

    • Idli rava/rice rava -1 cup
    • sabudana-3/4th cup
    • curd- 2 cups(preferablly sour )
    • water-1/2 cup
    • salt per taste

    How to make Sabudana idli

    1. Take a bowl and add sabudana and rava to it ..wash and drain the water completely..add beaten curd and salt, mix well.
    2. If the batter is thick add half cup water
    3. Let soak overnight or for 5 to 8 hours.
    4. After 5 to 6 hours the rava and sabudana will soak the liquid and the batter will be dry now add more water to bring it to an idli batter consistency.
    5. Your batter is ready...add a spoonfull of batter to idli plates and steam it for 12 to 15 mins.
    6. check the idli with fork after 15 mins ..if it comes out clean ..ur soft sabudana idli are ready ..serve with any spicy chutney.

    My Tip:

    In case you forget to soak overnight, its not a problem at all, you can soak them for minimum 2 to 3 hrs, just increase the quantity of sour curd.
