Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maize flour- 1 cup
  2. Radish- 1 grated
  3. Green chilli- 1 chopped
  4. Ajwain-1/2 tsp
  5. Oil for frying
  6. Salt to taste


  1. Mix all the ingredients except oil. Add water and make a soft dough. Make a ball and place it on a plastic sheet.
  2. Spread dough out with fingers to a chapati size and place it directly on a hot flat pan(tawa). Drizzle oil and roast on a slow flame.
  3. Enjoy this Punjabi parantha with curd or fresh white butter or fresh milk cream.
