ABOUT Capsicum tomato paneer ( No onion & garlic) RECIPE

This is a simple paneer recipe without onion- garlic .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer cubed 200 g
  2. Tomato 2 medium size one tomato diced and one tomato paste or puree
  3. Capsicum 2 medium size diced
  4. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. Green cilli 2-3 or as you prefer
  6. Shredded ginger 1 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon ( optional)
  9. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Curry powder 1 teaspoon
  12. Salt and sugar as per taste
  13. Vegetable oil 2 tablespoon
  14. Chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat oil , fry paneer cubes and keep aside.
  2. In the same oil add cumin seeds, let it splutter.
  3. Add capsicum fry, add tomatoes pieces shredded ginger stir .
  4. Add sugar and all spice powders. Stir and keep frying.
  5. When capsicum becomes soft add tomato puree and mix
  6. Now add salt. Add 1 cup water and cover it.
  7. Let cook for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove cover and add paneer, check the seasoning.
  9. Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes.
  10. Switch off the burner. Let it stand for few minutes.
  11. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
