  7. Salt 1/4tsp
  8. Vanilla essence 1tsp
  9. Milk 2-3tbsp
  10. Chocolate chips 1/2cup
  11. Chocolate gems for decoration

  1. Preheat the oven to 160degree. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  2. In a bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa, baking pwd, baking soda. Stir in the sugar and salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Add butter and vanilla.
  4. Add milk ( add 2tbsp and if you require more to bind your doug then add 1 more tbsp)
  5. Add the chocolate chips and mix
  6. Bring together to firm a smooth dough.
  7. Chill the dough in the fridge for about 10-15min so it is easier to make balls out of them.
  8. Make even sized balls and place on the parchment paper, atleast 2inches apart from each other as the brookies tend to spread. Place the chocolate gems on the balls so they can seen on top once baked.
  9. Bake for 10min only. The brookiea may look soft or unsone, but don'tbe tempted to bake longer or they will turn crispy.
  10. Leave them on the tray for 10-15min until fully cooled.. And transfer them to anairtight container to store
