A healthy fusion of traditional Indian methi laddoo which is consumed in winters and Granola.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 tablespoons - methiseeds(fenugreek seeds)
  2. 2 tablespoons - almonds.
  3. 2 tablespoons- Cashews.
  4. 2 tablespoons - pumpkin seeds or flaxseeds.
  5. 2 tablespoons - chocochips
  6. 2 tablespoons - wheat flour.
  7. 2 tablespoons - honey.
  8. 2 tablespoons - melted butter.
  9. 3 - Kimia dates.(chopped)
  10. 6 tablespoons -milk.
  11. 1 teaspoon- ghee.
  12. 1/2 to 3/4 cup - Oats.
  13. 1/2 teaspoon - vanilla essence.
  14. 2 tablespoons - brown sugar.

Instructions

  1. Soak fenugreek seeds (methi seeds) in warm milk and keep it overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Grind the soaked fenugreek seeds to a coarse paste.
  3. Heat ghee in a non stick pan and roast the fenugreek paste on low flame for 3-4 minutes.let it cool.
  4. Chop all the nuts ,seeds and dates
  5. In a big bowl mix chopped nuts, seeds and dates. Add wheat flour,mix well.
  6. Add melted and cooled butter and honey .
  7. Add brown sugar .
  8. Add vanilla essence.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Start adding oats little by little till your mixture is firm enough and coming together properly not crumbling away.
  11. Press it firmly in greased and lined 6 by 6 inch baking pan.
  12. Bake it at 170 degree for 20 to 25 minutes or till it starts browning and is little firm to touch.
  13. Cool and cut.
