Then make cylindrical rolls and cut into small pieces.
Put these pieces into boiling water (around 3 cups of water).
Boil it till the gattes become whitish and float on the top of the water.
FOR CURRY
Grind onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli.
Make puree of tomato.
Take a wok, add oil.
Add cumin seeds and hing.
As it starts crackling, add ground paste.
Saute and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
Add pureed tomato and mix.
Cook it for 1-2 minutes.
Then add dry masalas and saute.
Mix gatte and little boiled water (used for boiling gatte) mix it.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, then add remaining boiled water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala and serve.
