ABOUT Gajar halwa RECIPE

Gajar halwa is famous Indian winter dessert. Loads of dryfruits and small amount of ghee ,little milk , sugar and cardamom powder with carrots makes delicious recipe of halwa.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Carrots 10 mediam size
  2. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
  6. Drifruits 1/2 cup or more = almond,walnut, cheshue etc

Instructions

  1. Wash the carrots and make 1 inch small piece then bring it and make paste.
  2. Heat ghee in kadhai add carrots paste and soute it.
  3. Add milk and cook til milk observed.
  4. Then add sugar and stir continuously.
  5. Add cardamom powder and mix it.
  6. Turn off the gas and garnish with drifruit.
