ABOUT Celery Soup RECIPE

This amazingly hot & piping healthy celery soup is just apt for this winter.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3-4 stalks of celery along with the leaves, chopped
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
  4. 3-4 cups chicken stock / water
  5. 1 tbsp. oats
  6. 1" cinnamon stick
  7. salt & pepper to taste
  8. 1 stock cube
  9. 1 tsp. olive oil
  10. 1 tsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and butter in a pan & temper with cinnamon. Then add the garlic cloves and saute till it changes colour. Now add the onion and fry till translucent.
  2. Add the celery stem and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Next add the celery leaves, oats, stock cube, salt and pepper.
  4. Mix everything well and add 3-4 cups water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles. When cool, discard the cinnamon and blend in the mixie.
  5. Heat through and serve, garnished with a sprinkle of pepper powder.
