ABOUT WALNUT BROWNIES RECIPE

Brownies though made with chocolate, you can really vary brownies as you wish: add walnuts, or peanuts, or hazelnuts, or add some more chocolate chips white or dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 1/4 cup flour
  2. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 2 large eggs
  5. 2 galaxy bars
  6. 3/4 cup chocolate chopped or choco chips
  7. ¾ cup walnuts chopped
  8. ¾ cup melted butter
  9. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  10. ½ tsp baking powder
  11. ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheating: For all baking; preheating oven is very essential. When you don't preheat, you cook your food at a lower temperature as your oven spends the initiation 5-15 minutes only to heat, depending on the target temperature and oven
  2. So to start with, preheat your Oven, in the mean time you are get your batter ready for baking.
  3. Coating the pan: Grease the baking pan with butter and dust some flour over it. Coating a greased pan with a thin dusting of flour creates a barrier between the grease and the batter, which prevents the grease from melting
  4. and disappearing into the batter as the brownies bakes and this also avoid sitting to the pan.
  5. You can’t go wrong in making Brownies if you have the best quality fresh flour and coco powder. In a bowl combine the flour, coco powder, baking powder and salt. Sieve it for 2 times.
  6. In another bowl add sugar, eggs and vanilla extract and whisk it for 1 minute.
  7. We need melted butter at room temperature. After sieving the dry ingredients, make a well and pour in the melted butter and then pour in the wet mixture to the dry mixture and use a spatula to stir in flour until just combined and no lumps
  8. Now stir in the walnuts and chopped chocolates. Reserve some walnuts for garnish. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out. Garnish with the reserved walnuts.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 28 - 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted from the side to pan comes out almost clean.
