ABOUT Cuppa spice tea (masala chai) RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 whole clove
  2. 2 cardamom
  3. 1 cinnamon stick
  4. 2 cup water
  5. 1/4 tbsp ginger
  6. 1/2 black pepper (crushed)
  7. 1 cup milk
  8. 2 tbsp sugar
  9. 2 tbsp tea

Instructions

  1. crush the cloves, cardamom pods and cinnamon
  2. Transfer the crushed spices to a small saucepan, add the water, ginger and pepper and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat and add the tea.
  6. Cover and let steep for 3 minutes.
  7. Stir the chai, then strain it into a warmed teapot or directly into teacups. Enjoy!
